Members are encouraged to adopt a person outside the faith or de-churched, to befriend and have a relationship significant to change their life’s path. Families are encouraged to adopt another family in a genuine friendship. This friendship is outside the faith and not for the purpose of converting them, but for the purpose of serving and helping them change their life path. Perhaps you can help them acquire parenting skills, or encourage financial skills, or just show them a family life.
