The Children’s Liturgy of the Word provides an environment for young children to hear and learn about God’s Word in the Sunday readings. The purpose is for children to engage and become active participants of the Mass celebration and to help them grow in their faith. Children ages 4-8 years old; generally those who have not received Holy Communion. Older siblings are welcome to be a support. Children are dismissed from Mass before the First Reading. They rejoin their families after the Homily.
