Children's Ministry Volunteer

Lead an individual preschool room well by guiding volunteers, engaging children, and connecting with parents. Know, support, and celebrate the small group leaders in the room you oversee. Prepare ahead of time by reading through the curriculum so you can lead your room well without being glued to a paper. Guide the room through every step of the day—from check-in to large group to activities—and oversee the transitions to create a smooth, engaging environment for a child. Connect with parents at the door to learn helpful information about their kid and provide positive feedback and encouragement. Ensure all policies and procedures are being met with excellence—from diaper changing to snack time.
