Community Outreach Support

The Saint John Coltrane African Orthodox Church has a long and beautiful history of caring for those in need. From our free hot vegetarian meals program, which served the community for decades, to our free clothing program and music classes — ministries that only ended because skyrocketing rents in San Francisco left us without a permanent full-time space — we have remained committed to serving our neighbors with love and dignity. Today, that work continues through free meals and food program, counseling, radio broadcasting, care for seniors, prison outreach.
