Disaster Relief Opportunities

Serve with Disaster Relief. Jesus said, “Let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your father who is in heaven.” Matthew 5:16. The reputation of your church will be strengthened as you practice loving people unconditionally by meeting basic needs with no strings attached. Widespread disasters often bring unity to fragmented communities as they work to overcome their circumstances. God’s people can be in the mix, building relationships and bringing the hope of the Gospel into new friendships. As church members respond to disasters together, friendships will grow and people who feel disconnected from others can quickly become integrated into the life of your church.
