"F.A.S.T." is a ministry that pairs a care giver with an elderly or handicapped person in the community. The extent of the involvement is determined by the care giver. The kind of service that may be offered ranges from simply a phone call regularly to check up on the person, to personal visits, to perhaps preparing a home-cooked meal once in a while, to doing some basic house cleaning, to helping to pay bills, to running errands, etc.
