Chapel by the Sea supports several local organizations that express compassion and a wholehearted desire to serve those in need. These include Bean's Cafe (breakfast and lunch), The Children's Lunchbox (food for children and families), Downtown Soup Kitchen (meals, showers, shelter for women), F.I.S.H. (food assistance), Mother Lawrence Foundation (food and clothing), St. Francis House (emergency food), Salvation Army McKinnell House (family emergency housing), Anchorage Gospel Rescue Mission (meals and beds), AWAIC (aid for abused women & children), Beacon Hill (serving children in foster care), Brother Francis Shelter (emergency shelter), Covenant House (help for homeless & at-risk youth), and Priceless (help for trafficked individuals).
