Where: Keller, TX
Shared by Messiah Lutheran Church on
The Messiah Lutheran Activity Center on Hwy. 377, just down the hill from the main building, houses our Braille Center, part of Lutheran Braille Workers. With simple tools and the help of volunteers of nearly any age, the center prints Braille Bible books in multiple languages. Volunteers work as a team, using metal plates and presses to imprint Braille on both sides of the paper. Pages are then bound and packed for delivery. Several workshops meet weekly, and newcomers are always welcome.
