Severe wildfires have had a devastating impact on communities across Nebraska in 2026, burning more than 700,000 acres across western and central Nebraska, destroying homes and other structures. Many Nebraskans continue to face the long-term work of recovering from the loss of homes, fencing, grazing land, livestock resources, and other essential infrastructure. As a result of this need, the Mission and Outreach Ministry Council is gratefully receiving One Great Hour of Sharing donations designated to Nebraska Wildfire Relief.
