A catastrophic flood on August 26 has created a severe humanitarian crisis across several communities in Nepal. In districts such as Rasuwa, Nuwakot, and Dhading, entire villages were swept away, while the destruction of roads and bridges has left numerous communities isolated and severely limited the delivery of humanitarian aid.
