The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (O.C.I.A.) is a process for adults interested in learning more about the Catholic faith and discerning whether to become Catholic Christians. The process leads an unbaptized adult to baptism, or prepares those baptized in another Christian tradition to be received into the Catholic Church. It also prepares those baptized Catholic to receive First Holy Communion and Confirmation. OCIA for the Catholic Churches of Jennings County meets on Wednesday evenings beginning in September and continuing to Easter. You will be accompanied by a Catholic sponsor.
