The Orchard Community Church has been packing shoebox gifts for Operation Christmas Child since 2012. This is a ministry of Samaritan’s Purse and is based on the simple idea of filling shoeboxes with toys, school supplies, and personal items. The filled boxes are sent to children in war-torn or poverty-stricken countries and the Gospel message is shared each time shoeboxes are distributed.
