God’s concern for the least of these is a central theme throughout Scripture, showing his heart for the poor and needy, the vulnerable and outcast. Our heart for mercy and justice flows out of God’s. Jesus' passion for the least culminated in the cross, dying for the weak. Following Jesus means following in His mission of mercy and justice through loving and serving our city.
