Prayer Shawl Ministry
When: (repeats monthly)
Where: 1029 Kundeck St, Jasper, IN 47546, USA
Shared by St. Joseph Parish Center on
The prayer shawl ministry began with a prayer and fellowship. Knitting/crocheting of shawls and/or lap blankets for the ill was our initial project, but the ministry has evolved into so much more. For example, we do knitted caps for those going through chemotherapy; we sew blankets and crochet mats for the homeless, sew stuffed bears, some of which are sent to Riley Hospital. There are members who make Rosaries for homeless veterans, and with our Annual St. Joseph Christmas Bazaar, we are always in need of a variety of creative items.
Where: Room 304 at the Parish Center
