January speaker JB Miller is a life-long Mennonite and student of Amish and Mennonite history. He grew up in Sarasota's Pinecraft community, a popular winter-time destination for Amish and conservative Mennonites. The community dates back to the 1920’s and serves as a winter home to many different groups of Plain People who identify as Amish or Mennonite. Come join us as JB shares how these communities live and what Pinecraft was like long before it became a popular tourist destination.
