Psalm 72 is a royal psalm, a prayer for a king who can actually make things right. As you read through it, something becomes clear: the description grows too large for any earthly ruler. It stretches beyond Solomon, beyond every king Israel ever had, and points toward the only One who can truly fulfill it. That king is Jesus.
