Volunteer for Monastery Grounds Maintenance
Where: Rives Junction, MI
Shared by Holy Dormition Monastery on
The monastery is situated on 200 acres of land, partly wooded, and partly developed into gardens, meadows, ponds, walking trails and open spaces. The maintenance of all these spaces requires a significant amount of work which in the greater part is accomplished with the generous help of dedicated volunteers who cut and split wood for winter, cut grass in the summer, rake leaves in the fall, maintain the trails, attend to the gardens, and participate in the Spring and Fall work days.
