Whiz Kids is an afterschool 1:1 mentoring and tutoring program that cares primarily for 1st through 5th grade students in the Oklahoma City metro who are reading below grade level and navigating inequitable systems and circumstances. Volunteer availability determines the amount of students who receive tutoring, to maintain 1:1 mentoring relationships. The more volunteers who sign up, the more kids who get to participate.
